![]() One of the rewards was that you would participate in the alpha and beta testing for the game. At least I wont have to pay again to get the game right? Well I thought it odd that they were announcing a release date and had not done any alpha testing, not a message to the kickstarter backers. By this point in my life I have already come to terms with the mistake I made backing this project and that I had more than likely lost my money. Late summer 2017, Mesozoica has a twitch stream and they finally announce a release date of December 23, 2017. They developers never mention their promise for a winter 2015 early access again and just keep releasing images of models for the next 2 years. Winter comes and passes and not a peep from the developers, they just keep released images of models. My thought should've been something much different. "Ok well at least they are showing something" I thought. Months pasted and the only thing shown were animal models. 30 days later the kickstarter has ended and they have met their goal and so the wait for Mesozoica began. In a moment of sheer want for a new Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis I backed the game at an amount that I care not to admit. Hearing and seeing all this made me so excited to be able to play an actual modern Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. They sold it on the fact that you would be able to do anything with your park that you could imagine. Over 100 creatures that ranged from Precambrian to modern day. The kickstarter promised a winter 2015 early access release, a date only a few months away. Fast forward a few months and Mesozoica would go into its Kickstarter faze asking for $50,000. Young and naive me wanted a modern Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis so bad that I followed this project blindly, I decision I would come to regret. It had the skeleton of what a great game could be. I am amazed by what I see detailed models, amazing concept art, and a catchy name. As im having a blast building my park I have the thought "Why has no one seen how good this game is, how passionate the fans are, and how successful a sequel would be?" Well I do what anyone else would do and I take the internet and come across the conceptual game Mesozoica. Through Steam, Discord and other social platforms we plan to provide honest updates and remain transparent to continue building a strong relationship with our fans.Spring 2015, I sit at my computer playing the timeless game Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. “Feedback is an essential part of development that requires excellent communication between developers and their community. Feedback is invaluable, and we believe that this platform is a fantastic opportunity for collaboration and growth.”Īpproximately how long will this game be in Early Access? “Our passionate team has been hard at work developing a new experience for the zoo simulation genre – providing a unique take through its focus on extinct animals and creative possibilities.Įarly Access allows us to share our journey with the community as we continue to fulfill our vision, taking the necessary time and care required to complete a project of this scale.
